Volunteers Required For Coastal Bird Count

Members of the public are invited to assist with this year's coastal bird count at approved observation sites.
Volunteers will help Department researchers record species, nesting locations and changes in coastal migration patterns.
No previous survey experience is required. All volunteers will receive basic identification guidance and safety instructions before entering observation areas.
Participants must remain within marked public zones and follow all instructions issued by Department personnel.
